巴山峰头逼天街，
天街之上有八台，
八台四万八千丈，
雨雾霰雪常不开。
双河谷口风夜吼，
八台直向云中走，
长冰结岩牙参差，
古栈石磴压雪厚。
锦江青灯庞眉客，
风雪独上八台北，
气蒸眉睫旋作冰，
两耳欲堕指脱节。
八台冻云何崔嵬，
雪山万重扑面来。
千年老鳌凝江底，
山君战栗鹧鸪死。
山中松柏直如桴，
琼枝玉叶银珊瑚，
天帝猎罢赏骑射，
轻撒八台万斛珠。
我登八台望四面，
前江后江皆如线，
我家应在西南隅，
雪云迷茫看不见。
正是八台飞雪时，
千里赴任多佳思，
如此江山如此景，
大笑痴儿来何迟。

滕伟明，1943年生，四川成都人。毕业于四川大学中文系。历任重庆城口中学与四川职业艺术学院教师、《四川文艺报》《四川文化报》《岷峨诗稿》副主编。现任蜀文献编委会主编，四川省诗词协会会长。著有《滕伟明诗词集》《诗海探骊》等多种。TENG Weiming born in Chengdu Sichuan Province in 1943 graduated from Chinese Department of Sichuan University once a teacher in Chongqing Chengkou Middle School and Sichuan Vocational Art College and an associate editor of newspapers ofSichuan Literature and Art Sichuan Culture and Min’e Poetry now working as the editor of Sichuan Literature Editorial Committee and the President of Poetry Association in Sichuan Province also the author of Teng Weiming’s Poetryand Exploring Dark Horse in the Sea of Poetry.
Song of Snow at the Eight Terraces

The peaks on Mt. Ba reach the Heaven Street;
The Heaven Street has eight terraces there.
The eight terraces are scores of miles high
Where rain rime and snow often blend with air.
The mouths of Twin Rivers echo night soughs
Up to the clouds the eight terraces go.
The crags frozen with ice look like teeth sharp;
The old plank way and steps are thick with snow.
The Jin River lamp lights up a snow man;
Snow whirls wind to the eight terraces tall;
Air breathed out becomes ice on eyelashes soon;
Fingers will disjoint and two ears will fall.
How the eight terraces tower with clouds iced;
Layers upon layers of snow-capped hills hurl by.
The age-old turtle freeze on th’ river bed;
Lord Mountain shivers and the pheasants die.
The pines in the mountains are straight like rafts;
Jade leaves and silver corrals now display.
God does all shooters and hunters reward;
Ten thousand pearls are cast down and away.
I climb up the eight terraces and look:
The rivers before and behind straight be.
My home should be at the corner southwest
Which in all snow and clouds I cannot see.
Just now o’er the eight terraces snow flies
To my post miles far away I feel great;
Lovely rivers and mountains lovely scene!
I laugh at myself: This fool’s come so late.
