Billy Meier是一个自称接触过昴宿星人的地球人，以下事件是1975年7月17日第31次接触报告节选，并且记录在1980年代出版的<<Message from the Pleiades>>里面。
在这次会面，昴宿星人Semjase 对Billy Meier 指出：“地球不是一个正圆球体，它总是腰围粗粗的，因此，若从『地心』量起，珠穆朗玛峰并不是世界第一高峰，反而是南美洲- 厄瓜多尔的『钦博拉索山Mt. Chimborazo』是世界最高。
目前验证结果
1996年科学家透过人造卫星测定，地球既不是标准的球形，也不是标准的椭圆球形，而是一个南大、北小、中间鼓的「梨形」。
