Bringing things
“薇”说:
本话题是必考话题之一,虽然问题多与日常生活相关,但是绝不可轻视。如果仅仅基于实际生活泛泛回答,比如手机、钱包和钥匙等,难以取得高分。高分答案可以从两个方面入手:1. 选择携带不一样的物品,比如不说手机,而说充电宝(power bank);2. 评价所携带物品给自己带来的好处或感受。
Q1:What will you bring when you go out?
As long as I’m out I always carry my identityproving stuff such as ID card or student card home keys mobile phone for contact and wallet with no doubt since I cannot resist the temptation from fabulous window displays and foods. What’s more tissues just in case I need to wipe up slops or some other things. The rest varies from different contexts. For example for school I’ll bring my laptop and all relative academic materials such as stationeries and notebooks. If it seems to rain or it is raining I’ll bring an umbrella as well.
with no doubt 毫无疑问
resist [rɪˈzɪst] vt.
temptation [tempˈteɪʃn] n.
fabulous [ˈfæbjələs] adj.

slop [slɒp] n.
stationery [ˈsteɪʃənri] n. 文具
Q2:How would you remind yourself of something you need to bring?
I will either write it down on a sticker and stick it to the wall or fridge or the front door as long as it’s obvious to be noticed; Or sometimes I use the reminder App on my phone and make a screenshot so as to set as the home or lock screen. I guess each mobile device has such a design and everyone always takes a look at the phone throughout the day. That may help remind of some important things.
sticker [ˈstɪkə(r)] n.
obvious to be noticed
screenshot [ˈskriːnʃɒt] n.
Q3:Will you bring different things in the daytime or at night?
Yes. For the day some ultraviolet-preventing stuff such as sunscreen cream or sunglasses are always lying in my bag. For eastern girls typically we are somehow afraid of being tanned while being exposed to the ultraviolet radiation even though it’s generally cloudy outside. I will take these stuff out at night since apparently there is never a sunburn issue in darkness and putting them aside will make my bag weigh much lighter. That’s doubtlessly a bit relief for my shoulders or hands.

tan vi. & vt.
