Add the letter s to most nouns to make them plural.

加上字母s 给大多数单词 使他们成为复数。

(给大多数的名词加上“s”，使他们成为复数形式。)

例如：猪hog hogs，建筑物building buildings

Add es to nouns ending with ch sh s or x to make them plural.

加上es 给单词 以ch sh s或x结尾的 使他们成为复数。

(以ch sh s或x结尾的词要加上“es”，使他们成为复数形式。)

例如：手表watch watches，希望wish wishes，盒子box boxes

If a noun ends with a consonant and y change y to i and add es.

如果一个名词结尾用一个辅音和y，改y成i再加上es。

(如果名词是以辅音和y结尾，要把y变成i再加上es。)

例如：社区community，communities，派对party，parties

If a noun ends with a vowel and y add s to make it plural.

如果一个名词结尾用一个元音和y，加上“s”使其变为复数。

例如：玩具toy，toys，游戏play plays

Some nouns ending with f or fe are made plural by changing f or fe to ves.

一些名词结尾用f或fe(的) 被改成复数 通过变f或fe为ves。

(以f或者fe结尾的一些名词，变成复数时要把f或fe变成ves。)

例如：叶子leaf leaves，妻子wife wives

Some nouns ending with f are made plural by adding s.

一些名词结尾用f(的) 被改成复数 通过加s。

(一些以结尾的名词变成复数时加“s”。)

例如：屋顶roof roofs，首领chief chiefs

Most nouns ending with o that have a vowel just before the letter o are made plural by adding s.

大多数名词 结尾用o(的) 它们有一个元音就在字母o前面 被改成复数 通过加s。

(大多数以o结尾，且在字母o前有一个元音的名词，变成复数时要加上“s"。)

例如：收音机radio，radios，立体音响stereo stereos
