英语里关于pig的象征意义，和我们汉语一样，都有吃货的意思。
词组pig out 就是“狼吞虎咽地大吃；大吃特吃”。如果你到过猪圈，或许你就知道猪吃东西的时候是如何豪放了，它们会发出一阵阵吵杂的声音，然后大口大口地吞下食物。
不要把pig out 翻译成“猪，出来吧”！
e.g.: I can't help myself when I see ice cream. I have to pig out. 我一看见冰淇淋就忍不住想吃，我非得狼吞虎咽大吃一番。

sweat like a pig：出汗很多，全身冒汗
这个说法很有趣，因为猪没有汗腺，无法像许多动物那样全身流汗，所以猪感到热的时候，会到泥坑里面打滚降温。
