学过英语词melt和thaw的人都有一个“困惑”：Butter(奶油)到底是说它melts还是说它thaws?因为一般的理解中它们都有成“融化”、“溶解”、“解冻”的意思。

同样，Ice(冰)and snow(雪)是melts还是thaws呢？
