树林里住着一只毛毛虫，叫科林。他是一只很漂亮的毛毛虫。
A little caterpillar lived in the forest his name is Colin. He is a beautiful caterpillar.
科林：“看！我身上有红色，橙色，黄色，绿色，蓝色和紫色！”
“Look at me! I’m red orange yellow green blue and purple.”
他的好朋友们 小蜜蜂，小蝴蝶，小瓢虫，小蜗牛都很羡慕他。
His friends the little bee the little butterfly the little ladybug and the little snail are all envious.
蜗牛：“你好，科林。你和别的毛毛虫都不一样哎。”
“Hello Colin. You’re different from all the other caterpillars.”
蝴蝶：“你好，科林。你五颜六色的，比我的蝴蝶翅膀都漂亮呢。”
“Hello Colin. You’re colorful more beautiful than my butterfly wings.”
有一天，突然下雨了。
One day it rained.
科林：“哎呀！不好了！我身上的颜色，怎么被雨水冲淡了呢？”
“Oh no! My colours! How come they are washed off by the rain?”
科林：“看，我的颜色！”
“Look! My colours!”
蜜蜂：“科林，你的颜色怎么掉啦。”
“Colin what’s happening to your colours?”
瓢虫：“好像雨越大，就掉的越快哎。”
“It seems the harder the rain the quicker it washes off.”
科林：“看 我的颜色!”
“Look! My colours!”
蝴蝶：“科林，快躲到大树叶下面吧。”
“Colin hide under the big leaves.”
可是科林身上的颜色还是都被雨水洗掉了。
But Colin’s colours were still washed away by the rain.
科林：（哭）“我好伤心.I’m so sad.”
蜜蜂，蝴蝶：“哦，天呐。别伤心了科林。”
“Oh dear! Don’t be sad Colin.”
蜗牛，瓢虫：“可怜的科林，别哭了。”
“Poor Colin don’t cry.”
不一会儿，太阳出来。
After a while the sun came out.
蝴蝶：“大家快看呀，彩虹！”
“Look everyone here’s a rainbow!”
大家：“好美啊，好漂亮啊。”
“Wow so pretty.”
彩虹照在科林的身上，科林又变回五颜六色的了。
The rainbow shone on Colin and he became colourful again.
科林：“大家看，这是我的颜色！”
“Look! Here are my colours!”
大家：“太好了！太好了。科林你又找回你的颜色了。”
“Hurray! Colin you’ve got your colours back!”
科林：“我又是红色，橙色，黄色，绿色，蓝色和紫色的了！我好开心啊！”
“I’m red orange yellow green blue and purple again!
I’m so happy.”
大家：“科林，你又是漂亮的毛毛虫了！”
“Colin you are a beautiful caterpillar again.”
