DisplayPort 1.4标准正式发布!支持60Hz 8K视频
3月1日,VESA(视频电子标准协会)正式公布了新版的影音传输标准DisplayPort 1.4。新标准被看作是2014年9月发布的DisplayPort 1.3之后的第一个重大更新。
下一代displayport(应该是叫displayport1.5)的带宽:40 Gbps
另外,关于下一代的dp标准(估计是叫做displayport1.5吧),已经有消息了,但是带
宽依然只有40Gbps,还是远不如hdmi2.1.

It is not clear whether the new version will continue using the 8b/10b for transport encoding like previous versions but if so the maximum data rate for video will be 32.0 Gbit/s.

5K (5120 × 2880) 60 Hz 10 bpc (30 bit/px) RGB / YCBCR 4:4:4
4K (3840 × 2160) 144 Hz 8 bpc (24 bit/px) RGB / YCBCR 4:4:4
The roadmap also states it will make 8K at 120 Hz possible likely using a combination of Display Stream Compression and YCBCR with chroma subsampling.
hdmi2.1最大能达到10k分辨率,最大能达到10k@120hz,而不要说dp1.4了,即便dp1.5也达不到10k@60hz

USB IF正式评估、修订通过USB 3.2并予以公示,宣告该标准正式达成
USB 3.2的主要技术要点:
1、在现有的USB Type-C数据线上实现双通道
2、继续使用现有的SuperSpeed USB物理传输率和技术
3、一些小的规范更新,确保单双通道无缝切换。
据悉,USB 3.2因为要求集成USB 2.0和USB 3.1主控,所以完全向下兼容。
另外,从USB 3.2开始,Type-C将成为唯一推荐的接口方案

速度方面,使用USB 3.2主机连接USB 3.2储存设备,可以实现两条通道10Gb/s的传输速度,也就是超过2GB/秒.

目前市场变幻莫测;USB3.2将数据传输速率提升至48Gbps,完全能够传输未经压缩的视频数据;但考虑到其传输距离短以及缺乏可扩展性,USB3.2目前完全代替HDMI或DisplayPort的可能性并不大;与此同时,英特尔正在推出可提供40Gbps传输速率的雷电3技术,并将专利授权费给予免除,而且兼容TYPE C等,能够将所有接口都统一在其标准中,未来可能达到80Gbps或更高速率,所以就技术端而言,DisplayPort尽管有着带宽更高,无需构建驱动电路等优势,但整个行业的技术也在不停的推陈出新,因此对于显示设备来说,几乎所有的视频接口它都会具备,现今仍然将维持DisplayPort与HDMI也和TYPE C一起闯江湖!
