1.年份的表达
1）一般将表示年份的四个数字分成两组并按照基数词来读，如：
1982年读作nineteen eighty-two
1995年读作nineteen ninety-five
1920年读作nineteen twenty
1980年读作nineteen eighty

2）当表示年份的四个数字中前两位为非0的数字，而后两位数都为0时，后面的两个0读着“hundred”，如：
1600年读作sixteen hundred
1700年读作seventeen hundred
1800年读作eighteen hundred

3）当表示年份的四个数字中的第三个数字为0，而其他三个数字都不为0时，这个0读着o，如：
1605年读作sixteen o five
1708年读作seventeen o eight

4）当表示年份的四个数字中的最后三个数字或中间两个数字为0时，可分别采用第一个数字 thousand、第一个数字 thousand and 后一位数字来表示，如：
1000年读作one thousand

5）当表示的年份为数字 B.C.（公元前）或A.D.（公元）时，可以按照前面提及的四个规则来读年份的数字后再加上B.C.或A.D.，如：

3.日期的表达，在书写上可采用“日 月 年”或“月 日 年”的方式，年用数字，月用单词，日可用基数词或序数词来表示，年份前面需用逗号隔开，而日月之间不需用逗号隔开；如：
“2018年8月1日”可书写成：
1 August 2018或1st August 2018或August 1 2018或August 1st 2018
“2019年6月1日”可书写成：
1 June 2019或1st June 2019或June 1 2019或June 1st 2019
