由UNStudio设计、位于阿联酋迪拜的超高层建筑Wasl塔建设进展顺利,目前现场建筑高度已达到220米。继续攀升80米之后,Wasl塔将完成项目封顶,实现总高302米的设计,成为全球最高的陶瓷幕墙超高层建筑之一。
The Wasl Tower designed by UNStudio in Dubai is moving on up! Currently it's standing at about 220 metres and only has about 80 metres more to go. When it completes the building will have one of the world's tallest ceramic facades.

The tower acts as the point of convergence between these two key Dubai locations attracting people from every side.

The Wasl Tower will be a regional touchstone for adaptability and sustainability. Its capacity to acclimatise to local temperatures through shading and cooling techniques sets this building apart within the hot desert climate. Its design aesthetic and "contrapposto" structure revolves around "Figures in Motion" and references the interconnectivity of Dubai’s complex and thorough infrastructure. This adaptable multipurpose addition to Dubai’s skyline reflects mobility establishes sustainability and provides opportunity.

建筑还拥有全球最高的陶瓷幕墙 以柔和的陶瓷材料附于立面。粘土作为立面的基础材料,釉面陶瓷则用于形成立面的鳞片造型。立面精巧的“鳞片”构成幕墙的几何肌理。这些“鳞片”不但为建筑提供了必要的遮光,更能将日光反射进建筑内部。运用设计模型的参数数据,确定了鳞片的方向角度(12.8度)以及尺寸和材料选型。具有节奏感的灯光编程直接装饰了幕墙立面,使得建筑宛如在与城市一同呼吸。
The Wasl Tower has one of the world’s tallest ceramic facades cloaked with gentle ceramic features. Clay was chosen as a basic material for this facade as such the facade fins will be manufactured as low-tech glazed ceramic elements. This fine lace of fins over the basic skin literally veils the geometry. These fins only shade the facade but also reflect daylight deep into the tower’s interior. The direction of the fins (12.8 degrees) as well as the dimensions and materialisation have all been developed using the parametric data from the design model. This holistic facade is decorated with autonomously generated light patterns that breaths with the rhythm of the city.
