“锚定性语块” --- Anchoring Chunks
Anchoring chunks，好高大上的词。网上没有搜到，是我杜撰出来的。之前在2018年5月22日，我发一篇推文，浅谈“锚定性阅读”的必要性。其中解释了锚定性阅读以及其必要性。
“锚定性阅读”是外语学习过程当中，帮助学习者确立所学目标语言的架构和思维模板的阅读行为。锚定性阅读材料主要指语言学习所用的教材、教学材料和教学资源。锚定性阅读根据材料的典型性程度差异可分为精读和泛读，语言典型性强的短篇阅读材料可以定位为精读；反之，即为泛读。
经过两年多的运用体会和思考，我觉得有必要完善一下“锚定性阅读”，于是杜撰出一个“锚定性词块”或者是“锚定性语块”，英文表达为：Anchoring chunks。
英文词典Webster上面的解释anchor: a device usually of metal attached to a ship or boat by a cable and cast overboard to hold it in a particular place by means of a fluke that digs into the bottom.锚
当然，也有拓展：
a reliable or principal support
something that serves to hold an object firmly

动词解释：to hold in place in the water by an anchor；to secure firmly
chunk是词块或者语块。小到字母、字母组合、单词，大到习语、固定搭配，以及语句。（个人理解）Cambridge Dictionary是这么解释的：When we speak and write we repeat a lot of phrases and clauses such as on the other hand a lot of at the moment you know you see I mean. Some of these phrases or chunks of language are very common and they have specific meanings.
这些是为了表现一下我的严谨。（其实没有做到，只是有这个意识：尽可能做到吧！）
提出Anchoring Chunks的目的是想帮助那些通过“锚定性阅读”的英语学习者。“锚定性阅读”是以篇章形式承载语言现象和素养内涵，多适合于中高级英语学习者。
那么，对初中级英语学习者，更应该关注的是词汇、句子结构的积累。而当今的英语教学界充斥着各种语言学习材料（来自世界各地的英文教材、各种期刊杂志、各种网络语言素材、各种屏读素材、各种培训教程......） 我们突然发现，英语学习者的最大困难不是材料有限，而是材料太多，无从下手。因此，“锚定性语块”的提出就很有必要了。
“锚定性语块”不受教材、培训素材等限制。主要依据英语学习者的目的和方向，定位该领域的高频词、常用结构，然后有针对性地、由易到难，选择、编辑学习文本（多模态语篇更好），确保“锚定性语块”快速发挥锚定作用，为后续学习打下坚实基础。例如：
一节课只讲了一个句子通过Where there is a will there is a way.锚定了一个句子结构，也为锚定学习者的很多素养做好铺垫。
Lesson 1 (补) --- 我第一篇推文（有点Low）通过我最常用的一句话，逐渐给学习者锚定一个理念Perseverance很重要。
究竟什么是“原味阅读”？通过某一话题高频词、常用结构的锚定式学习（窄式阅读、实现在限定语言素材中高频词的高复现率），快速、高效地提升语言水平。

我日常教学中比较重视“锚定性语块”，“锚定性语块”也在我的学生的学习中发挥着潜移默化作用。1. Perseverance is a kind of quality and that’s what it takes to do anything well. 2. It's what you do rather than who you are or where you come from that matters. 3. Less is more. 4. What we can't get always seems better than what we have. 5. History repeats itself. 6. Think twice before you act. 等，不仅是他们最熟悉的句子、万能句型，也是他们的理念。他们能够例数N多个类似的句子，有长有短；有的涉及思维意识、有的涉及养生积福、有的涉及人生真谛......
