The BBC reported that the online trend “Falling Star Challenge” is quite popular in China. That trend which began in Russia has young people surrounded by luxury goods pretend to fall out of luxury cars and private jtes. However in China the focus is more on hobbies and intrests rather than flaunting wealth.

Famous Chinese martial arts novelist Louis Cha Leung-yung who is better known by his pen name Jin Yong passed away at the age of 94 in Hong Kong on Oct 30. He was most famous for his wuxia or martial arts and chivary novels. He sold over 300 million copies of his novels making him one of the best-selling Chinese authors according to China Daily. The novels have also been adapted into many films and TV drams.
