Elvis Presley
well since my baby left me
well i’ve found a new place to dwell
oh it’s down at the end of lonely street
at heartbreak hotel
i’ll be so lonely baby well i’m so lonely
i’ll be so lonely that i could die.
and although it’s always crowded
you still can find some room
for broken hearted lovers
to cry there in the gloom
and be so lonely baby they’re so lonely
oh they’re so lonely they could die
well the bell hop’s tears keep flowing
the desk clerk’s dressed in black.
well they been so long on lonely sreet
they will never look back
and they get so lonely baby
oh they’re so lonely
they’re so lonely they could die.
well if your baby leaves you
and you have a tale to tell
when you take a walk down lonely street
to heartbreak hotel
where you’ll be lonely and i’ll be lonely
you’re so lonely that you could die
and although it’s always crowded
you still can find some room
for broken hearted lovers
to cry there in the gloom
and be so lonely baby they’re so lonely
oh they’re so lonely they could die
