Star Mall Hosted the CISShenyang IB International School Christmas Choir
On December 7th students and faculty of Canadian International School of Shenyang(CISS) participated in the Christmas Market at Star Mall and offered a wonderful performance to the audience becoming the focus of the event.Student Masters of Ceremonies provided introductions in German Korean English and Chinese.
继去年首次惊艳亮相后，今年12 月7日，沈阳加拿大外籍人员子女学校（CISS）师生再次出现在沈阳星摩尔商场举办的“圣诞集市”上，以更加丰富的节目、更加精彩的演出成为全场瞩目的焦点
The first program was the chorus Welcome Santa Claus performed by 7 International Kindergarten Students.Classic Christmas songs red noses and Santa hats contributed to the spirit of Christmas at the Star Mall Christmas Celebration!!During the hour long performance students from grades Kindergarten to Grade11 at CISS performed more than 10 Festive Christmas songs and classic carols to the enjoyment of the large crowd in attendance!

As an official IB DP World School in Liaoning Province CISShenyang aims to develop students to be inquirers open minded knowledgeable and caring thinkers among the other IB learner profiles. Performing at this event and being recognized by the audience has helped the students to build up their self-confidence which we feel is a critical component of student development. Students today were very obviously very proud of themselves. They said' we believe that we will have bright future'.

Canadian International School of Shenyang founded in 2017 is the first international school founded by (AKD) an internationally renowned education group in Northeast China. It is also a school that fills the gap in the development of international education in Liaoning. It is represented by the legal person of the AKD Group and Dr. Peng Jianhua chairman of the group personally acts as the legal representative and chairman of the school. CISS provides an English based state-of-the-art Canadian curriculum with foreign teachers professionally qualified to carry out daily education and educational activities. CISS accepts the children of foreigners or children with foreign green cards as well as those from Hong Kong Macao and Taiwan. Our fundamental purpose is to cultivate well-developed high quality international talents whose student status is recognized by the Department of Education of New Brunswick Canada for what we adopt the world's most advanced Power School system. Moreover our students are also eligible for the HSK Chinese certification exam. In September 2019 CISS was authorized by the (IBO) headquarters of the International Diploma Organization to become the first IB Diploma Program (DP) World School in our province which further expanded the leading advantage of CISS in the field of international education in Liaoning. This IBO training is not available in other international schools in Liaoning Province at present.
据介绍，沈阳加拿大外籍人员子女学校（CISS）成立于2017年，是由国际知名教育集团加拿大加皇国际教育集团（AKD）在东北地区创办的首家国际学校，也是一所填补辽宁国际教育发展空白的学校，由AKD集团法人代表、董事长彭建华博士亲自担任学校法人代表、董事长。学校以培养全面发展的高素质国际型人才为根本宗旨，接纳在辽宁投资兴业的外籍人员、持绿卡人员以及港澳台人员子女，让他们充分享受到优质的国际教育。成立一年多以来，学校得到了辽宁省和沈阳市各级政府的大力支持，也在辽沈地区的外商机构和外籍人士中拥有了良好的声誉和影响力。CISS采用世界先进的Power School系统，其学籍得到加拿大新不伦瑞克省教育部认定，学生有资格参加HSK中文认证考试。2019年9月，CISS获得国际IB0组织认证，拥有了开设IB DP课程资格，成为IB DP（大学预科）世界学校，也是辽宁首家IB DP世界学校。这些条件都是目前辽宁省内其它国际学校不具备的。
