郑州大学法学院的前身为司法部和河南省委、省政府于1980年共同组建的郑州大学法律系。1985年，法律系在全国第一批设立了经济法专业，1988年经济法专业独立组建为经济法系。1994年，法律系和经济法系合并组建成为现在的郑州大学法学院。建院以来，国内外高校数以百计的著名专家学者经常到我院讲学和指导工作，在各兄弟院校的大力支持下，使我院得以与恢复后的全国法学教育同步发展。 2018年12月，郑州大学法学院党委入选首批“全国党建工作标杆院系”培育创建单位。

Law School of Zhengzhou University

Zhengzhou University Law School was formerly known as the Department of Law of Zhengzhou University which was jointly established by the Ministry of Justice Henan Provincial Party Committee and Henan Provincial Government in 1980. In 1985 the Department of Law was among the first in China to set up a major in economic law. In 1988 the major was independently incorporated into the Department of Economic Law. In 1994 the Law Department and the Economic Law Department merged to form the present Law School of Zhengzhou University. Since its establishment hundreds of famous experts and scholars from domestic and foreign universities have often come to our college to give lectures and guide our work. With the strong support of other colleges and universities our college has been able to develop in step with the national legal education after its restoration. In December 2018 the Party Committee of Zhengzhou University Law School was selected as one of the first batch of "National Benchmarking School and Department of Party Construction" to cultivate and establish.
