辽宁老外（外国人在辽宁喜欢这里的雪）“我刚来沈阳时看到了很大的雪。这是我人生中第一次见到雪！在我老家没有雪，所以看到下雪我很开心。”一提到雪，沙吉尔非常兴奋。沙吉尔的家乡没有雪，因此他特别喜欢在沈阳玩雪，打雪仗，团雪球。爱上沈阳的冬雪和夏凉现在沙吉尔在中国科学院金属研究所研读博士，专业是材料科学与工程。一年来，他在沈阳学习和体验了很多新事物。“我很幸运，不仅有机会在这里学习，还可以与来自世界各地的人建立联系。这里的人们很友好、乐于助人。”沙吉尔说。在沙吉尔眼中，沈阳人既高大又热情，他在这里结交了很多新朋友。沙吉尔说：“我和身边的朋友们在个人层面上相互理解，并找到了共同点，彼此接受和尊重，建立了牢不可破的友谊。”沙吉尔还有两年半的博士学业需要完成，他打算毕业后在沈阳找一个稳定的工作，然后找对象，一起开心地生活。
包饺子，看春晚，拜大年。今年春节，来自巴基斯坦的 27 岁小伙子沙吉尔度过了他在沈阳的第一个新春佳节，一个令他终生难忘的中国春节。一提起在沈阳这一年来的生活与经历，沙吉尔言语间充满了兴奋与欢乐。他说，令他难忘的事“无穷无尽”。
要在美丽沈阳成家立业
沙吉尔老家在费萨拉巴德，家里有六口人，妈妈、一个哥哥、两个姐姐和一个弟弟。在巴基斯坦的时候他有机会学习了汉语，对中国文化产生了深厚的兴趣，于是他决定到中国来一边学习，一边了解中国文化。
2021 年 1 月 28 日，沙吉尔来到了沈阳。“我记得来到沈阳的第一天，那是我长这么大遇到的最冷的一天，但我特别兴奋。”沙吉尔说。
现在沙吉尔在中国科学院金属研究所研读博士，专业是材料科学与工程。一年来，他在沈阳学习和体验了很多新事物。“我很幸运，不仅有机会在这里学习，还可以与来自世界各地的人建立联系。这里的人们很友好、乐于助人。”沙吉尔说。

爱上沈阳的冬雪和夏凉

“沈阳是辽宁的省会，我觉得她在东北是一个很重要的城市。这边的冬天很冷，但是夏天很凉快。这里有东北大学，有博物馆、图书馆、动物园，中街、太原街，澡堂文化很棒。我喜欢这里的雪，也喜欢这里的夏天。我希望在这里的生活会更好。”
学习之余，沙吉尔喜欢环城旅游，探索这座城市的美丽。“故宫，显示着中国珍贵的文化和传统。中街和太原街是人潮涌动的地方，我在这里看到了沈阳的先进和现代生活。这些街道上到处是各种雕塑，还有快餐店、烧烤店、建筑、商场等。我可以找到许多国家的美食，烤肉和烧烤非常美味。”沙吉尔说。
沙吉尔经常通过视频给家人看中国的文化，给他们发沈阳的照片、视频。家人都很羡慕，也很想来沈阳看看。沙吉尔打算等疫情结束后回家看望，然后再带上家人来沈阳小住。
沙吉尔说：“在这一年里我非常感谢我的老师、学长和所有朋友的帮助、批评、建设性的意见和指导，他们为我提供了一个安全、舒适和灵活的学习环境。一年的时间过得飞快，而未来无限美好。我在心里设计着自己未来在沈阳的幸福生活，并祝福‘中巴友谊万岁’！”

My First Impression on Liaoning
沙吉尔游览太原街
Hello everyone my name is Sharjeel Ahmed from Pakistan.
I am 27 years old. I came in Shenyang last year for my higher education. It seems like a dream and one year has gone fast. It is hard to mention all. I have learned and experienced so many new things during this period. I have been blessed with the opportunity not only to study but also to connect with most amazing loving and beautiful people from all over the world marked with different races ethnicity culture and religions.
Shenyang is the capital and largest city of Liaoning Province in Northeast China. Today it is the biggest city in the Northeast. Along with nearby cities Shenyang is an important industrial centre and serves as China's northeast transportation and commercial hub.
Shenyang has a monsoon-influenced continental climate with large seasonal variation. Winters are very cold but dry and can easily feature nights of -20℃ or below. Summers are hot and humid with daytime temperatures near 30℃ though rarely rising into the high 30° C.
On the first day here in Shenyang it was the coldest day in my life but I was very excited. I enjoyed the winter season in exploring the famous historical places of Shenyang. The people here are cooperative friendly and helpful. I love the summer of Shenyang. The weather in summer is very cool.
I love traveling around the city to explore the beauty of this city. The Forbidden City the palace reminds the precious antique culture and traditions of China. The Middle Street and Taiyuan Street are the crowded places here where we observed the advance and modern life of Shenyang. These streets are full of various sculptures activities fast food BBQ architecture shopping malls etc.
There is also a Muslim food street where we can find the many restaurants of various countries roasted meat and BBQ are the delicious ones. Inspired by love we have common to understand each other on personal level and found a common ground filled with acceptance and respect for one another and building unbreakable friendships. As a personal reminder to all food lovers I have enjoyed eating the delicious cuisine of this city. This year it was my first spring festival here.
Shenyang residents are classic Dongbeiren (Dongbeiren literally means “Northeasterners”). Scores of adjectives are routinely used to describe Dongbeiren: friendly loud drinkers and straight-forward are just a few. Though Dongbeiren are also quite loud locals prefer to describe themselves as being “reqing” or “enthusiastic.” In most restaurants Shenyang dinners converse with intensity that takes visitors by surprise. Old friends who are in the midst of affable conversation can appear to outsiders to be in angry argument. The people in Shenyang also consider themselves to be down-to-earth and straight-talking. Chinese culture is notoriously indirect – people often hint at rather than directly state what they want. Residents of Shenyang claim that they are not this way. To westerners they still seem quite indirect but compared to other regions of China Shenyangresidents are perhaps more to-the-point in their interactions. This is why many in Shenyang will claim that when it comes to business the Northeastern traders aren't as crafty or as successful as their counterparts to the south.
On the day of New Year Eve I was invited by a Chinese family to say goodbye to previous year and to welcome the New Year. It is known that eating dumpling is the tradition on the day of eve. I had the chance to learn making the dumpling. It's really an art to make good shaped dumpling. Many other delicious dishes were also prepared. With the dinner we enjoyed the live transmission of New Year Festival. I had a great time. I can never forget this event.
However I visited the Benxi city which is second most beautiful city I have ever seen in Liaoning province.The water cave is the most interesting and representing. The cave was decorated with magnificent light. There is also a lake in the bottom of cave where we enjoyed the boating. Outside the cave there was an amazing scenery covered with snow.
To sum up I really appreciate all the critics constructive comments and guidance from teachers seniors and all other friends; you provide a safe comfortable and flexible environment to learn and improve my knowledge in walks of life.
