2002年1月1日出生于山东济南，5岁习琴。启蒙于山东师范大学钢琴系教授陈俊；后师从中央音乐学院教授、我国著名钢琴演奏家、教育家陈曼春和凌远，并曾受教于钢琴教授解彤，钢琴家秦川。15岁，赵自宽以优异成绩考入美国因特老肯艺术高中，师从著名钢琴教育家Thomas Lymenstull博士；于2021年被伊斯曼音乐学院以最高荣誉奖学金录取，师从钢琴系主任Douglas Humphreys教授。

13年不间断的钢琴学习和演奏，不断见证了赵自宽对音乐的敏感执着和钢琴演奏的天赋、能力。他多次参加国内外钢琴赛事和世界顶级艺术节、大师课，主要包括：

四次荣获”星海杯”和“珠江-凯撒堡杯”全国青少年钢琴比赛山东赛区特等奖、一等奖；“珠江-凯撒堡杯”全国比赛优秀奖；全国青少年钢琴大赛山东赛区一等奖；伊莫拉国际钢琴比赛B组优秀奖，德彪西作品奖，教师特殊贡献奖。

赵自宽先后在上海交响乐团室内乐音乐会、在山东省会大剧院陈曼春师生音乐会进行钢琴独奏；

两次参加上海国际钢琴大师艺术周；

2019年被大西洋和阿斯本音乐节双双录取。

在多次国际音乐节和钢琴大师课上，赵自宽得到了 Douglas Humpherys Pavoina Dokovska Maxim Mogilevsky 陈宏宽 Fabio Bidini等钢琴大师的艺术指导；

世界钢琴大师Vladimir Ashkenazy称赞他是“音乐跟着他内心走”的演奏家。

在

近几年的钢琴演奏中，赵自宽尤其对印象派作曲家如德彪西和拉威尔的作品情有独钟，也在不断探索近现代作曲家的作品；

同时他对即兴和实验音乐也有着极大的兴趣。

他热衷于社会实践，怀着高度的社会责任感，在所处的社区中实践着自己的思想和艺术。

Zikuan was born in Jinan Shandong Province in 2002. At the age of 5 Zikuan was initially taught by Chen Jun Professor of Piano Department of Shandong Normal University; After he studied with Chen Manchun and Ling Yuan professors & educators of Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing. He was also taught by piano professor Xie Tong and pianist Qin Chuan in Jinan. At the age of 15 Zikuan was admitted to the Interlochen Arts Academy in Michigan U.S. and studied with piano educator Dr. Thomas Lymenstull since then. In 2021 Zikuan was accepted by Eastman School of Music with Dean"s Performance Award; In the coming fall Zikuan will study with professor Douglas Humphreys the piano department chair of Eastman.

Zikuan has won the Grand Prize and First Prize in the Shandong Region of the "Xinghai Cup" and "Zhujiang-Kayserburg Cup" National Piano Competition; the Excellence Award in the "Zhujiang-Kayserburg Cup" National Piano Competition. First Prize in Shandong National Youth Piano Competition; Outstanding Prize in Group B of Imola International Piano Competition Debussy Prize and Special Contribution Award for Teacher.

At the age of 12 Zikuan held his first solo recital at the Shandong Grand Theatre and performed Mozart"s Piano Concerto No. 19 (k459.) in the second half of the concert with the Shandong Opera and Dance Theatre Orchestra. At the age of 13 he received two months of guidance from pianist Seymour Lipkin professor of Curtis Institute of Music; meanwhile he gave his second solo recital at the First Church in Farmington Connecticut. Zikuan held his third solo recital during his sophomore year at Interlochen Arts Academy.

Zikuan performed in the chamber music concerts of Shanghai Symphony Orchestra with Qin Chuan in 2013 and performed in Manchun Chen Teacher-Student Concerts at Shandong Provincial Capital Culture and Art Center Grand Theatre in 2018. Zikuan has participated twice in Shanghai International Piano Festival; in 2019 he was accepted to both the "Atlantic music festival" and "Aspen music festival." In many festivals and international piano master classes Zikuan has received artistic guidance from Douglas Humpherys Pavoina Dokovska Maxim Mogilevsky Hongkuan Chen Fabio Bidini and other pianists. Pianist Vladimir Ashkenazy commended Zikuan as a performer whose "music follows his heart."

In Zikuan"s recent years of performance he has been particularly attracted to the works of impressionist composers such as Debussy and Ravel. He is also interested in the works of contemporary composers. At the same time he also has a great interest in improvisation and experimental music. Zikuan is passionate about artistic activities with a high sense of social responsibility practicing his thoughts and art in his community.
