Mom: Look our package came!
妈妈：看，咱们的快递到了！
The courier just dropped it off.
快递员刚把它送到。
Your new lamp should be in it.
给你新买的灯应该就在里面。
Child: Yay! Let's open it.
宝宝：耶！我们打开吧！
Uh-oh I think it's broken!
哎呀，这个应该是坏了！
Mom: Hm you are right it is.
妈妈：嗯，你说得对，是坏了。
The lamp shade has a puncture in it.
灯罩上有个洞。
Well it looks like we need to exchange it.
哎，看来咱们得退换货了。
Child: What does “exchange” mean?
宝宝：“退换货”是什么意思啊？
Mom: It is when something you bought is broken or the wrong item
妈妈：就是如果你买到的东西是坏的，或者发错货了，
you return it and get a new one.
你就把它退回去换一个新的。

Mom: Let's call customer service and see if they can help us.

Child: Yup! Here's a number.

Mom: Okay before we dial the number let's have our order number ready.

Child: Yeah it's a long one!

Mom: Remember to be polite when you speak to people on the phone.

Mom: Hi I'm calling about a problem with my package.

Yes the moon-shaped lamp.

It seems that the lamp shade was broken in transit.

网上申请换货
Mom: To request an exchange we need to find our order in our account information.
妈妈：申请换货的话，我们要先在账户信息里找到我们的订单。
Now find the button that says "exchange" "return" or "replace."
现在找一找写着“换货”、“退货”或者“调换”的按钮。
There it is!
在这儿。
"Return or Replace Items" good tap it.
“退货或换货”，好的，点它。
Child: Now it says "Why are you returning this?"
宝宝：现在它说“您为何要退回商品”？
Mom: Read through the options
妈妈：读一下选项，
and find what was wrong with the lamp.
找到咱们这个灯属于什么问题。
Do you see it?

Child: Yes this one: item defective or doesn't work.

Mom: Yup tap that button

and it should lead us to choose between a refund and replacement.

Here. "Replace with the exact same item."

Child: It asks how we are going to return the item.
