2. Do you hear…? 你听到…了吗？
3. Babbling brook [ˈbæblɪŋ brʊk] 潺潺流水，即flowing water。
4. Brook [brʊk] n. 小溪，小河；vt.[常用于否定句和疑问句]容忍
   例：
   The brook loops around the farm.
   小河绕农场流过。
   The matter brooks no delay.
   此事刻不容缓。
5. the sound of ... 译为：......的声音
6. the sound of the babbling brook 潺潺流水的声音

4. 关于careful的例子：

1). 作表语，肯定句
You must be careful crossing the road.
你过马路时一定要当心。

2). 作表语，否定句
You should be careful not to overvalue yourself.
你应该警惕不要过高估计自己。

3).careful作表语 to be careful 动词不定式作状语，表目的。
He yelled at her to be careful.
他大声叫她注意。

5. 关于carefully的例子：

1). watch carefully 仔细看，当心；
（放动词之后，作状语，修饰动词watch）

2). please drive careflully. 请小心驾驶；
（放动词之后，作状语，修饰动词drive）

3). She carefully sewed it to the cap.
她仔细地把它缝在帽子上。
（放在动词之前，作状语，修饰动词sew）

4). The fruit should be carefully put away.水果应小心存放起来。（被动句，放在动词之前，作状语，修饰动词过去分词put）
