音标学习有个快速入门方法叫“掐头去尾法”。最早了解还是小编刚刚迈出校门的时候。原创者是马承教授，叫做“字母、音素、音标”三位一体教学法。这也是我职业生涯接受的第一次培训。

一、辅音字母有21个。因为最容易识别，所以先解决它。

第一类：“掐头”法，即这四个字母，在单词中发的音是它的尾音。例如L/el/，在单词中读/l/。

第三类：特殊的发音。

(17) g-- girl /g/

(18) h -- hat /h/

(19) r -- run /h/

(20) w -- water /w/

(21) Y--yet /j/

二、四个辅音字母的发音比较灵活

字母C的发音：

(22) 后面接a，o，u的时候，c的发音与字母k发音相同，如cat cap call coat cup；

(23) 后面接e，i，或y的时候，通常c的发音与字母s发音相同，如city ice rice face cell cent voice pencil juice；

(24) 在e或i前面，c会发/sh/音 ocean racial social。

字母g的发音：

(25) 后面接a，o，u的时候，发/g/，如 girl gas get give go；

(26) 后面接e，i，或y的时候，有时发音与字母j的发音相同，如age change ginger Egypt gentle giraffe badge；

字母x的发音：

(27) 在单词中间或结尾时发/ks/音。如 box next mix six fox

(28) ex 元音字母，x发/gz/。如 exit exam exact

(29) 在单词起始位置时发/z/音: xylophone xerox

字母y的发音：

(30) 在单词起始位置时发音为辅音： yes you yard year yell

(31) y在单词或音节中间或结尾时被当做元音

三、辅音字母组合

辅音连缀，即两个（最多三个）辅音音素结合在一起的一种语音现象。

字母l组合

1. Bl-- black blame bless blue blast

2. cl --clock class clap clue close

3. fl --flag fly flat flash flower

4. gl --glass glad glide glue globe

5. pl --plate plane place plus plan

6. sl --sled sleep slow slide slim

字母r组合

1. br --bridge break brave brown bread

2. cr --crab crack crop crown creek

3. dr --dress drag drink drive drop

4. fr --frog fresh free from front

5. gr --grape grade grass grin grunt

6. pr --press pride price print proof

7. tr --truck track true train tree

字母s组合

1. sc --scale scar score scare scuff（注：在science和conscience中不同）

2. sk --skate skip skill skull skin

3. sm --smoke smile smog smell smear

4. sn --snake snap snore snow snug

5. sp --spoon spin spot spell sport

6. st --stop stack stay step still

7. sw --swim swell swing sweet swift

8. tw --twig tweet twist twin twine

三字母组合

1. shr --shrink shred shrill shrimp shrub

2. spl --splash split splice splint splurge

3. spr --spread spring spree sprain spray

4. squ --square squad squirrel squat squeak

5. str --string strip straw stream street

6. thr --throw three throne thrift thrill

结尾字母组合

1. ck（发/k/音） --duck pack quick luck rock

2. ld --cold gold held mild bald

3. lk --milk silk elk sulk skulk

4. mp --lamp damp champ hump dump

5. nch --inch ranch lunch bench crunch

6. nd --hand kind bend stand mind

7. ng（舌头抵住上颚后方、发出的鼻音）--ring long sing wing lung

8. nk --sink bank trunk pink ink

9. nt --tent ant hunt sent mint

10. sh --fish rash brush wish trash

11. st --vest last test list lost

四、复合字母构成的单音

两个（或三个）辅音字母在一起只发一个音，有五种组合：ch（tch），sh，wh，ph和th。

1. Ch（tch）/ʧ/--chair，check，watch

2. Sh/ʃ/--shoe，shop。

3. Wh/w/-- when，what，whale，who，whole（一般在o前面发/h/音）

4. Ph/f/--physics，photo，graph

5. Th发浊音/ð/--they them- their theirs the this that these those then- than though thus

6. th发清音/ɵ/--think，thank，thirty

五、不发音的辅音字母

1. gh中h不发音-- ghost ghetto ghastly

（注：gh在词中不发音-- light high eight sigh night）

2. gn中 g 不发音--gnat gnarl gnaw gnome sign

3. kn中 k 不发音--knife knit know knock knee

4. mb中 b不发音-- comb lamb thumb dumb climb

5. ps中 p不发音-- psalm psychic psychology

6. rh中 h不发音-- rhinoceros rhyme rhythm

7. sc 中c不发音-- scissors scent scene scenery scenario

8. wr中 w不发音-- wrong wrist wrap wretch wrench
