“改天”其实还有个特别的俚语表达，take a rain check，这个短语是来自美国的棒球文化，如果棒球比赛中因恶劣天气而不得不终止，官方将会给观众发一张rain check，凭这张券就可以观看下一次的比赛。

所以 take a rain check，也就有了改天的意思。

the other day = not long ago，意思是几天前、不久以前。而another day意思是改天、又一天、新的一天。

活到明天就可以说live to see / fight another day。

white day≠白天

white day 才不是白天的意思呢？实际上 white day = White Valentine s Day，是白色情人节的缩写。还可以表示良辰吉日，white 是幸福的、吉利的意思。

白天正确的表达方式是 by day，夜里就是 by night。要注意，加了 the 意思就变了！by the day 是按天计算，随着时间的意思。

What day is it today？和 What s the date today?这两个问日子的问法，大家要注意区分哦！

What day is it today？是问今天是周几，day 前面是没有the；而 What s the date today? 是问今天几号，date 前面一定要加 the 哦！

如果问今天是什么节日就可以说：What holiday is it today？
