英语中的主谓一致意思和用法（快速掌握英语中的）【实例】Bread and butter（黄油面包——一种食品）；Every man and woman（男男女女——每个人）；Going to bed and getting up （早睡早起——一种习惯）。意：主要是集合名词，要根据它所指的对象确定单复数。这里情况比较复杂：一、虽为并列、却是单数，如：

主谓一致，是中国学生学习语法最容易出错的内容之一。一会儿是就远啦、就近啦；一会儿又是“集合名词”分两种啦……怎么那么多“规则”。我们今天把它梳理一下，其实就是三个字展开，这样就便于记忆了。
三个字分别是：形、意、合。（不是马云拍的电影《攻守道》哦！）
形：看似复数名词的形式（即S结尾），但却是单数。
意：主要是集合名词，要根据它所指的对象确定单复数。
这里情况比较复杂：
一、虽为并列、却是单数，如：
Bread and butter（黄油面包——一种食品）；Every man and woman（男男女女——每个人）；Going to bed and getting up （早睡早起——一种习惯）。

5. Every boy and girl in the area was invited.
6. A poet and artist is coming to speak to us about Chinese literature.
二、中心词临近动词，即就近原则：
连接方式有Either…or…；Neither…nor…；Not only…but also…。
【实例】
7. Either you or one of your students is going to attend the meeting.
三、中心词远离动词，即就远原则：
主要是“名词 介词 名词”这种结构，如…as well as…；…along with…；…except/but…

8. The father as well as his three children goes skating on the frozen river.
（中心词father，而不是children）
9. No one in the department but Tom and I knows that the director is going to resign.
（中心词No one而不是Tom and I）
10. The number of foreign students has risen steadily since1990.
（中心词the number，而不是students，即“学生的数量”）
11. Barbara is the only one of the women who wears evening dress.
（中心词the only one而不是women，即“女人中唯一的那个”）
