Here are Biff Kipper and Chip.

Biff came out and saw the footprints.

Biff出来了,看到了这些脚印。

“Is it a big monster?” she thought.

Emm the monster has very big feet.

Are they monster’s feet? I wonder if these footprints belong to the monster.

这真的是怪兽的脚印吗?

Chip is following the footprints. He wants to see if there are other animals around.

They are Dad’s footprints.

Dad played a trick. He put on a special pair of shoes and made the footprints.

爸爸搞了个恶作剧,他穿了一双特殊的鞋子,踩出了这些脚印。

Are you surprised that it was Dad making the footprints?

你是不是感到跟惊讶呢?

What a funny Daddy!

好有趣的爸爸呀!

Where was Dad before he came out of the house?

他从屋里出来之前,去哪里了呢?

Ah! He was hiding inside in the house and looking through the window.

啊,他正躲在这里,偷偷从窗子里往外看呢。

Look! We can see his head but the children didn’t find him.

看!我们能看到他的头,但是小朋友们都没有发现他。

拓展问题

2.Do you think people like small tricks or not?

你觉得大家喜欢恶作剧吗?

3.What do you think everyone would say to Dad after they had found out about his trick?

这个爸爸还真是顽皮呢,做了恶作剧,还一直躲在旁边偷偷看!
