这件铜香炉为撇口，上下回形纹装饰，中间浮雕八仙图案，整体包浆老旧，底款为四字乾隆御制款，所谓御制，是由皇上亲自监督完成制作，是宫廷专用的器物，称为御制，在乾隆年间一些精品御制都是在养心殿完成，由当时的顶级御匠，宫廷画家一起来完成的，所出成品，为当时的巅峰之作，此壶落款规整，包浆自然，底光柔和，整体无磕无残，品相完美，花纹纹饰精美，寓意吉祥，为难得的炉中极品，具有极高的收藏价值。
这件铜香炉为象耳观音坐像香炉，观音头戴法冠，面目生动，鼻翼较宽，双目俯视，两耳较大，耳饰垂肩。身着圆领衫。双手托净瓶，袖口宽广，盘坐。观音菩萨坐像整体呈黑色包浆，炉盖镂空雕刻莲花为座，其部位保存完好，炉身有众多观音分身，或上或下，显示着无限法力，可保平安，而象耳谐音'祥'为吉祥之意。
底足阳刻六字款：大明宣德年制，德字少一横，是当时的典型特征，这件宣德炉在自然光线下，底光柔和，自然光呈现晕散反射，无任何贼光，经多名专家鉴定，竟是明宣德年间的宣德炉真品。
宣德炉最妙在色，其色内融，从黯淡中发奇光。史料记载有四十多种色泽，为世人钟爱，其色的名称很多。例如，紫带青黑似茄皮的，叫茄皮色；黑黄象藏经纸的，叫藏经色；黑白带红淡黄色的，叫褐色；如旧玉之土沁色的，叫土古色；白黄带红似棠梨之色的，叫棠梨色，还有黄红色的地、套上五彩斑点的，叫仿宋烧斑色；比珠砂还鲜红的斑，叫朱红斑；轻及猪肝色、枣红色、琥珀色、茶叶末、蟹壳青等等……明朝万历年间大鉴赏家、收藏家、画家项元汴（子京）说：“宣炉之妙，在宝色内涵珠光，外现澹澹穆穆。”

此度母佛：头戴五佛宝冠，身佩各种珠宝，着各色天衣，下身重裙，以示庄严；坐菩萨座于莲花月轮上，双足盘腿而坐。双手合掌，结佛教合十印。修持此尊密法，能断生死轮回，消除一切魔障、业障、病苦，消灾、增福、延寿、广开智慧，凡有所求，无不如愿成就，且命终往生极乐世界。
这件佛像能保存完美，得益于表面有鎏金保护，金的化学稳定性高，不易被氧化，也不易被溶化，仅与氰化物和王水反应，因而纯金的金器一般无需保护，只需注意避免挤压、碰撞。金器的保护通常指的是金的合金，如在金中掺银、铜、铁等，鎏金的金器腐蚀则主要来自胎基的金属。不同的合金，保护措施不同。掺铜的鎏金佛像易出现绿色的薄锈，可用酸类或氨水除锈。掺铁的鎏金佛像易出现红锈，可用盐酸去锈。有些时候，鎏金佛像表面会残留有石灰质锈壳，可用1%的稀硝酸溶液局部擦拭除净；表面的有机类污垢，可用2%的NaOH溶液浸泡几分钟除净；特别需要注意的是，表面的灰尘，由于纯金很软，尽量要避免反复擦拭，最好是用软毛刷或者软羚皮拂拭。遇到难以去除干净的，可用乙醚、苯、中性肥皂沫或者10%氨水来清洗，再用蒸馏水反复冲洗、烘干。鎏金佛像不需要特别的保存环境，室温下软纸包裹后存放于囊盒之中即可。比较复杂的是鎏金银器物。一般地，器物本体多数都是青铜材质，表面会出现大量铜锈。这些铜锈严重影响了鎏金器物的美观，应该予以去除。
