may might区别及用法：讲May与Might的三点事基本用法我还没有决定去哪度假，可能我会去英国。我们用may和might谈论可能发生在未来的动作或者事情。 Ann可能不会来参加晚上的派对了，她感觉不舒服。 这可能不是正确的。
may和might可以使用于说明事情发生的可能性，可能是对的，可能是错的，这是最简易的用法。两者在哪些地方会有差别，在时态应用上又是如何的呢？
通常，may和might意思上并没有差，我们是可以互换着使用的。
- It may be true. 或者 It might be true.
- I may go to Italy. 或者 I might go to Italy.
两者的否定形式也都是加not：may not 和 might not。
- Ann may not come to party tonight she isn't well.
Ann可能不会来参加晚上的派对了，她感觉不舒服。
- It might not be true.
这可能不是正确的。
我们用may和might谈论可能发生在未来的动作或者事情。
- I haven't decided yet where to spend my holiday I may go to England.
我还没有决定去哪度假，可能我会去英国。
- Take an umbrella with you when you go out it might rain later.
出去的时候记得带把伞，等会可能会下雨。
有时候，could也有跟may和might同样表示“可能”的意思：
- The phone is ringing. It could be Tom.
也可以说：The phone is ringing. It may/ might be Tom.
手机正在响，有可能是Tom打来的。
但是couldn't 就不同于may not 和might not了，要分清楚：
- She was too far away so she couldn't have seen you.
她距离你太远了，所以不可能看见你。
- Tom: I wonder why she didn't say hello to you.
Ann: She might not have seen you.
(这里的might 表示可能她没有看到你，也可能看到你了)
但是，当表述的情况并不是真实的时候，我们只用might表示。
If I knew them better I might invite them to dinner.
如果我更了解他们，我可能会邀请他们共进晚餐。
（事实是：我并不是很了解他们，所以我不打算邀请他们。）
发生在过去的事情，may和might在表达的结构上会发生变化，我们用may have done或者might have done。
- A：I was surprised that Sarah wasn't at the meeting.
B：She might not have known about it.
她可能并不知道。
- A：I wonder why Kelly didn't answer my phone.
B：She may have been asleep.
可能她睡着了。
- Don‘t phone me at 8:30 I may/ might be watching the football match.
不要在8点半的时候打电话给我，我可能正在看足球比赛。
这个will be doing会有所区别：
- Don't phone me at 8:30 I will be watching the football match.
不要在8点半的时候打电话给我，那时候我正在看足球比赛。
前者是表述“可能正在做......”，后者则是表述“将会正在做......”
