1.不满防疫措施 美国芝加哥教师工会2.7万名教师“罢课”
随着德尔塔和奥密克戎两大新冠变异毒株带来的新一波疫情高峰，美国各地学区再次陷入“关不关校园”“线下课堂是否转为线上教学”的争论中。
受新冠肺炎疫情影响，芝加哥教师工会希望通过网课方式展开教学，但始终无法与校方和学区管理层达成一致。本月5日开始，芝加哥教师工会采取“罢课”行动，敦促旗下2.7万名教师不要进入教室并坚持远程工作，除非疫情得到缓解，或者工会与学区就面对面教学的防疫新规则达成一致。
截至当地时间7日，芝加哥市公立学校已经连续三天停课。
2. 2022年牛津大学放榜
据牛津大学官方公布数据显示：校方在12月共面试20 000余名申请学生，其中超过3 600名获得预录取，38%获得面试机会的申请者拿到预录取，70%英国本土预录取来自公立学校生源。

Hainan records surging duty-free shopping

The southern Chinese island province of Hainan reported 49.5 billion yuan in offshore duty-free shopping in 2021 up 80% year on year with more than 70 million items bought by 6.72 million shoppers.

Large-scale cluster of ancient tombs discovered
广西发现7万平米大型古墓群
Archaeologists recently discovered a large-scale cluster of ancient tombs dating back to the Six Dynasties period to the Sui and Tang Dynasties (222-907) in South China's Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region. Covering an area of 70 000 square meters the cluster of some 200 tombs is located in Dashugen Village Fucheng Township of Beihai City.
考古工作者在广西壮族自治区北海市银海区福成镇古城村委大树根村发现7万平方米古墓葬群，初步调查勘探大树根古墓群约有200座古墓，专家推测该墓葬群的年代约在六朝至隋唐时期。
The most prominent feature of the cluster is that most tomb chambers were constructed with stone pieces but some tombs were made of brick and stone.
据介绍，该墓葬群最突出的特征是墓室普遍采用一种俗称”砂轮片”的石片构筑，也有部分墓葬以砖石合构。
Relics including pottery with diversified patterns ironware and bricks with inscriptions were excavated from the tombs.
墓地采集遗物有陶器、瓷器、铁器等类。此外还发现少量”窅亭”铭文砖。
Experts said that these archaeological discoveries are of great research value.
专家称该墓葬群具有较高的研究价值。
