7月21日23时左右，“周杰伦超话影响力破亿”的话题登顶微博热搜。经过粉丝们连日鏖战，被迫营业的周董夕阳红粉丝团将周杰伦顶到了超话排行榜第一的位置，他们用实力证明，数据真的就只是数据而已。
An epic generational clash waged on Chinese social media has come to a close with the mostly older fans of 40-year-old singer Jay Chou declaring digital victory over the largely Gen Z followers of young vocalist Cai Xukun.
中国社交媒体上一场史诗般的代际之争划上句点，在这场数据之战中，40岁歌手周杰伦的夕阳红粉丝们战胜了以Z世代为主的年轻歌手蔡徐坤的粉丝。

Early Sunday morning a screenshot posted to Chou’s official Weibo fan account showed the musician topping the platform’s list of “super topics”. Cai the 21-year-old Chinese mainland entertainer who formerly occupied the No. 1 spot now trails in second place.

【导火索始于豆瓣】
这件事情最初的导火索来自于豆瓣的一个帖子。一名用户发帖质疑周杰伦目前的明星影响力，称微博数据那么差，为什么演唱会门票还难买。
“I’ve been seeing people saying that it’s difficult to buy his tickets ” reads a supposed screenshot of the now-deleted Douban post referring to Chou. “But after I looked into it I found that he couldn’t even make it onto Weibo’s super topic list.”
这张截图上写道：“我一直看到有人说他票难买，但是我查了查，他微博超话排名都上不了。”如今这个帖子已被删除。
In the days since the claim was first issued it has ruffled the feathers of Chou’s devoted followers. The singer has been a household name in the Chinese-speaking world since the release of his album “Jay” in 2000. Once described by a 2003 Time magazine article as Asia’s hottest pop star Chou has given fewer performances since his 2015 marriage.

But the singer’s fans refused to take such an affront — even one issued by a random Douban user — in stride. Instead many hoped to defy the Douban post by boosting Chou’s place on Weibo’s ranking of super topics a feat that can be accomplished with enough posts and other activity on the platform. This goal in turn soon put the top-ranked Cai Xukun in their crosshairs.
但是周杰伦的粉丝们无法对这样的侮辱泰然处之，即使是一个豆瓣用户随意发布的帖子。相反，很多人希望通过提升周杰伦在微博上的超级话题排名来挑战这个帖子，用户可以通过在微博上发布足够多的帖子和完成其他任务来实现超话排名提升。他们很快把排名第一的蔡徐坤当成目标。

刚开始，只是粉丝因为豆瓣贴的言论过于可笑，想玩一下数据证明追星这一套我们也玩过。到后期“冲上第一”反而成了一大目标，而贡献积分的人之中，有路人、有其他艺人的粉丝、也有抓住热点跟着参与的明星等。
给周杰伦打榜的明星团有最近最炙手可热的李现、陈赫、林俊杰、萧敬腾、陈数、王力宏、刘畊宏、艾福杰尼……几乎变成全网帮打榜。
各方回应，《人民日报》也来围观
《人民日报》的微博账号也对周杰伦打榜事件作出回应，称音乐品格终由时间检验。
21日晚，周杰伦在社交平台“上线营业”晒度假照，有许多歌迷在照片下留言，称自己这两天有为周杰伦辛苦打榜。周杰伦在评论里暖心回应歌迷刷数据：我知道。
随后又鼓励旗下艺人：“希望你以后也有一群像我一样这么挺自己偶像的歌迷!”
在新人辈出的娱乐圈，每个时代都有这个时代的代表人物，同时他们也是那个时代最有流量的明星。流量不是贬义，因流量被认识，用作品被大家记住，拥有热爱他们作品的歌迷，才是一个歌手或者演员不再拥有所谓“流量”时的“财富”。
