一、 代词的分类代词是用来代替名词的一种词类，英语代词种类繁多，用法比较复杂，是中考英语的重点与难点之一。英语代词按其意义、特征分为以下九类：
在英语代词中，人称代词有格的变化，格是一个语法范畴，英语代词的格可分为主格，宾格与所有格。代词的主格在句子中做主语，宾格在句子中作宾语，所有格表示代词的所属关系。英语格变代词的变化如下表格：
英语代词跟名词一样也有数的变化，代词也有可数与不可数，单数与复数之分，如much a little little分别指代的是不可数。指示代词，this与that 的复数分别为these与those，反身代词myself himeself herself yourself的复数为，ourselves themselves yourselves。除此之外，有些不定代词还有指代两者与指代三者或三者以上之分，比如：
