be动词的用法及口诀（be动词的基本用法）2 、is 和单数连用 : he(他)、she(她)、it(它)和单个的人名、地名、物名。l am a student.我是一名学生。例如:l am a boy.我是一个男孩。l am ten years old.我十岁了。
be动词的意思和用法很多，一般的意思是“是”，此种用法，有多种变化形式:am、is、are、was、were、being、been。其中最基本的用法:am、is、are用于一般现在时态，was(am和is的过去式)、were(are的过去式)用于一般过去时态，这也是小学段英语语法学习中必须掌握的。
一、be动词用于一般现在时的三种形式:am、is、are。
1 、am 和 l(我) 连用。
例如:
l am a boy.我是一个男孩。
l am ten years old.我十岁了。
l am a student.我是一名学生。
2 、is 和单数连用 : he(他)、she(她)、it(它)和单个的人名、地名、物名。
例如:
He is a student.他是一名学生。
She is Lily.她是莉莉。
It is sunny today.今天是晴天。
My father is very tall.我的爸爸很高。
Beijing is a big city.北京是一个大城市。
The apple is red.这个苹果是红色的。
3 、are 和复数连用 : we(我们)、they(他们)、you (你们)和人名、地名、物名的复数。
注:you的单复数形式一样，无论you在句中是单数意思还是复数意思，其后的be动词只用are。
例如:
We are good friends.我们是好朋友。
They are my students.他们是我的学生。
You are a good student.你是一名好学生。
You are good friends.你们是好朋友。
Lily and Jack are classmates.莉莉和杰克是同学。
Beijing and Shanghai are big cities.北京和上海都是大城市。
The trees are tall.这些树是高的。
二、be动词用于一般过去时态的两种形式:was(am和is的过去式)、were(are的过去式)。
1 、was 和单数连用 : l(我)、he(他)、she(她)、it(它)和单个的人名、地名、物名。
例如:
l /He /She was a student last year.我/他/她去年是一名学生。
Lucy was beautiful two years ogo.露西两年前很漂亮。
Lanzhou was a big city ten years ago.十年前兰州是一座大城市。
This book was Lily's three days ago but now it's mine.这本书三天前是莉莉的，但是现在是我的。
2 、were 和复数连用:we(我们)、they(他们)、you(你们)和人名、地名、物名的复数。
例如:
We/They/You were students two years ago.两年前我们/他们/你们是学生。
Jack and Sam were good friends five years ago.杰克和萨姆五年前是好朋友。
Lanzhou and Xining were beautiful three years ago.兰州和西宁三年前很美丽。
These desks were in the library last week.这些书桌上周还在图书馆。
