英语直接引语变间接引语趣味讲解（间接引语的使用）有二次变化时 He said that he spoke English.代词没有二次变化时 He says that he speaks English.地点和时间表达式时态(二次变换)直接引语 “I speak English.”

上一篇文章中Jason老师说过，要转述别人的话，我们需要学习如何将直接引语转换成间接引语，这要看你要转述的内容，是陈述句、疑问句还是祈使句？相应的代词、时态都会有变化。

今天我们来谈谈转述陈述句时，句子的变化。要考虑以下几个方面是否需要改变：

代词

现在时态动词(第三人称单数)

地点和时间表达式

时态(二次变换)

直接引语 “I speak English.”

没有二次变化时 He says that he speaks English.

有二次变化时 He said that he spoke English.

代词

在间接引语中，代词是否要改变取决于谁说了什么？

看句子：She says “My mum doesn’t have time today.”

变成间接引语 She says that her mum doesn’t have time today.

时态

没有二次变化时：

动词 could should would might must needn’t ought to used to 不用改变.

看句子

He said “She might be right.” – He said that she might be right.

地点和时间表达式

你需要搞清楚时间和地点在直接引语和间接引语中是否一致。

比如说今天周五，你在餐馆遇到了James. 他告诉你他今天在这家餐馆看到了Caroline.

他是这么说的：I saw Caroline here today. 几分钟以后， Helen来了，你想转述下James刚才说的话。地点和时间都没有变，你可以说：

James said that he had seen Caroline here today.

又过了一天，你不在你在同一家餐馆遇到了 Mary.这时你想转述下James说过的话。地点一样，时间有了变化 (是昨天发生的事情），你可以说：James said that he had seen Caroline here yesterday.

又过了几天， Tom 给你打电话. 这时你要转述James说过的话。你在家而不在餐馆，地点变了，时间也变了，你可以说：

James said that he had seen Caroline at the restaurant on Friday.

或者

I met James in a restaurant on Friday and he said that he had seen Caroline there that day.

所以我们要考虑在特定的情况下地点和时间的表达是否符合逻辑。
