今天我们来读《购物》。
What can you see on the cover?
你看封面上有什么？
I can see Chip reading a book.
我看到Chip在读一本书。
What’s the book about?
这是一本什么样的书呢？
It is a recipe book about making biscuits.
这是一本菜谱，关于制作饼干的。
What else can you see on the table?
你看桌上还有什么呢？
There is a bag of flour a jar of sugar and a box of eggs.
有一袋面粉，一罐糖，还有一盒鸡蛋。
What will Chip do? Let’s get started.
Chip想要做什么呢？我们来看看。
Dad and Chip decided to make some biscuits.
爸爸和Chip要做一些饼干。
Dad was holding the recipe book.
爸爸拿着菜谱。
Chip checked the ingredients.
Chip检查了食材。
Oh no! They had run out of sugar.
坏了，他们没有糖了。
Chip wanted some sugar.
Chip需要一些白糖。
Chip went to the supermarket with Dad.
Chip和爸爸一起去超市。
There were all kinds of goods in the supermarket.
超市里有各种各样的东西。
We can see a whole shelf of sugar here.
我们能看到这里有一整个架子的糖。
Did Chip get sugar?
Chip买糖了吗？
No. Chip got some crisps.
没有，他买了薯片。
He loved crisps.
他很喜欢吃薯片。
Then he went to the shop.
然后，他去了商场。
There were also different kinds of sugar there.
那里也有很多种类的糖。
White sugar caster sugar brown sugar and so on.
白糖，幼砂糖，红糖等等。
Did Chip buy any sugar?
Chip买糖了吗？
No. He got a comic.
没有，他买了一本漫画。
Comic was his favorite book.
Chip最喜欢看漫画了。
Then Dad and Chip went to the market.
接着，爸爸和Chip去了市场。
Was there any sugar in the market?
那里有卖糖的吗？
Yes. The bags of sugar were placed on the stall.
有，货摊上摆放着一袋一袋的糖。
Did Chip get any sugar?
Chip买糖了吗？
No he didn’t buy any sugar.
没有，他没有买糖。
What did Chip buy in the market?
他在市场上买了什么？
He got a ball.
他买了一个球。
“It’s time to go back home ” said Dad.
爸爸说：“该回家啦。”
Dad and Chip went back home.
爸爸和Chip回家了。
Chip started to make biscuits.
Chip 开始做饼干了。
Suddenly one thing came to his mind.
突然，他想到了一件事。
He forgot the sugar.
他忘记买糖了。
Oh no!
天哪！
What was Dad doing?
爸爸在做什么呢？
Dad was reading Chip’s comic!
他在读Chip的漫画呢。
拓展问题1.What did Chip buy in the supermarket shop and the market?
Chip在超市、商场、市场分别买了什么？
2.Why didn’t Chip get sugar in each of the shops?
Chip为什么在每一家店都没有买糖？
3.What will Chip do at the end of the story?
故事的最后，Chip会怎么做呢？
拓展练习（难度略大，适合4岁以上宝宝～）
这本书里有个小细节很有趣。Chip忘记买糖，爸爸也忘记提醒他，Chip回家后想起来了，可是爸爸仍然没有想起来，还沉浸在Chip的漫画书里，这个爸爸是不是很可爱呢！
特别提醒1. 每个宝宝的年龄不一样，基础不一样，不需要完全按照以上文本来讲。如果孩子感兴趣，就多说一点，不感兴趣就少说一点，都没问题。
2. 只要孩子理解，或看图能明白，或家长可以用肢体语言或者指物的方式让孩子明白，就不要翻译。
3. 如果实在不能理解，可以适当解释，但不需要字对字翻译。
