任何一个求学阶段的经历,都可以作为该话题的答题素材。有大学经历的考生尽量说大学经历,因为这是价值观形成的一个重要阶段 (the critical stage for the formation of values), 内容自然会更丰富。如果考生刚刚高中毕业,可以以高中生活 (senior high school life) 中的困难 (hardship) 为例来谈自己的忍耐力 (enduring spirit) 和韧性 (sense of resilience)。如果考生有参观国外学校的经历,那也是很不错的素材。

I have attended Beijing No.101 Middle School and it has one of the largest junior high school campuses in China. There are a few lakes and open fields for students to enjoy their leisure time. Moreover the facilities are quite advanced compared to those of other schools allowing students to exercise and learn in marvelous ways.
