A mere 10 minutes into your piano lesson review which I was helping you with you began to fidget. You were stretching my patience. At last I was up to here with it. Blowing my top I leapt to my feet flung your book of scores across the piano which ended up in a corner of the wall closed the piano and retreated into the bedroom.

我在帮你复习钢琴课，刚10分钟，你就左瞅瞅右触触。我的耐心一点点消散，最后我终于忍无可忍，非常生气，一下子跳起来，把乐谱猛地朝墙扔过去，合上钢琴，回到卧室。那乐谱落在墙角了。

Another 10 minutes later the sounds of the piano came on the air. Mummy came over and said to me that I should go back to you because you were buttering me up. Knowing you were trying to pick up the pieces I immediately went over to sit beside you but my face was still set in a black scowl.

又过了10分钟，传来了弹钢琴的声音。妈妈过来说我应该过去找你，你在讨好我。我立刻来到你旁边坐下。一地鸡毛，你想跟我和好，这我知道，但我还是阴沉着脸。

"I play piano to make you happy but why are you still not happy?" you blurted out cocking your head towards me one minute later. With that I quickly let my face beam. Mummy said your EQ is much higher than mine.

刚过了一分钟，你突然转头急切地说，“我弹钢琴是为了让你高兴，可你为什么还不高兴？”你这么一说，我立刻让我自己的脸色开了个大花儿。妈妈说你的情商比我高多了。
