主要分为两大类：基数词和序数词。

概念：用来表示精确的数量的词叫做基数词。

例如：

one（1或一） two（2或二） three（3或三） twelve（12） eighteen（18） ninety（90） hundred（100） thousand（一千） million（百万） billion（亿） 等。

构词法：数词的英文形式，是有规律可寻的。它们主要是通过加后缀来完成的。

基数词有两个后缀：

后缀一：- teen， 表示“ 10”。

例如： sixteen （16），

thirteen（13） 等：

后缀二：- ty ，表示“×10"。

例如： sixty（60） thirty（30） 等。

巧记100内的基数词口诀

基数词不难记，找清规律很容易，十二以内词各异；

十三数到十九去，三至九后加﹣teen。

二十、三十至九十，整十之后加ty请牢记；

要说“几十几”，中间”-＂号别丢弃；

hundred是“一百”，请你记住莫大意。
