繁昌窖藏出土的这件元青花云龙纹兽耳大罐,造型雄壮,古朴端庄,是一件极为珍贵的元瓷珍品,全器纹饰达6层,主题突出,层次分明,繁而不乱,主体纹饰为腹部云龙纹和肩部如意云肩纹,辅助纹饰分别为回纹、缠枝菊纹、缠枝莲纹、变体莲瓣纹等纹饰。器口沿绘一圈回纹,采自青铜器上的云雷纹,单体绘制,自左上方起,逆时针走笔,从外到内绘制,古朴典雅。口沿下部绘一周缠枝菊花纹,有枝有节,生机盎然。波浪主干,有顿拙变化,用笔生动,扁菊形状呈现典型元青花的艺术特色。
我国古代便有“陶潜爱菊”的故事,爱菊是历代文人雅士共同的喜好。以岁寒三友之一的菊花装饰,更体现出元人内心世界的清高和对菊花品格的追崇,以及元青花装饰中注重写实,尊重自然的审美情趣。颈部绘一周缠枝西蕃莲纹,莲瓣间分开,莲花瓣尖呈麦穗状,瓣间染一浓笔,枝条缠绵不断,生动有力,有粗细变化,莲花布局合理,枝干间布有嫩芽,莲叶为如意叶,生动传神,西蕃莲为我国古代从西域移植过来的新品种,而这异域文化的西蕃莲和中国传统文化的菊花被绘制于同一件器物之上,实乃文化融合的典范。这一点折射出元代广阔的疆域,多元文化的环境,宽松的文化氛围等等。
具有较重要的学术研究价值。胫部绘变体仰莲纹肩部绘6组如意云肩开光,为元青花典型纹饰,内绘以两种不同纹饰,分别置于兽耳两侧的空间内,分别对称,其中对称的云肩,以缠枝菊为辅纹,填满整个云肩,肩腹交界处,对称塑一对兽耳,兽头以青花装饰双耳,以青花绘眼、口、鼻和嘴,嘴两侧绘粗线条状胡须,披发细颈,肘毛细长,体细长,背脊似火焰,龙身绘鱼鳞片,尾巴呈火焰状,辅以云纹,火焰纹,绘技精湛,龙纹姿态矫健,呼之欲出。胫部绘变体仰莲纹一周。各部分间以弦纹相隔,层次分明。全器画面动静结合,相映成趣,具有无穷的艺术魅力,实属元青花精品大器,弥足珍贵,具有很高的收藏价值。
This large jar with animal ears and blue and white patterns of Yuan Dynasty unearthed in Fanchang Cellar is a very precious piece of porcelain of Yuan Dynasty.
