The Shepherd
The shepherd was in charge of his flock of sheep but recently something strange had happened. The flock he was in charge of was dwindling day by day and the loss of the sheep made him very sad. People in the village often heard him cry out from the tower "My friends someone help me there is a terrible Wolf nearby and it is eating up all my sheep the hateful Wolf!
Everyone was very anxious and hurried to search for the Wolf. "That's not surprising " they said. "No sheep is safe as long as there are wolves around."
The shepherd however was hiding himself in the kitchen. What is he doing? The lamb loin is used to cook cereal and the lamb bones are used to make soup.
It turned out that he had once been a cook because of his mistakes the landlord had sent him to the country grange to shepherd sheep. Everyone went to hunt the Wolf and everywhere they cursed the bad Wolf. They searched the forest but they could not find the Wolf.
But my friends do you know where the sheep have gone? It's just a lie to say that the Wolf has taken the sheep. Who ate the sheep? The shepherd of course.
Thieving is an extremely bad behavior. We should improve our moral accomplishment and be an upright and honest person.

大家都很着急，赶紧去搜索狼的踪迹。“这不足为奇，” 人们说道， “只要附近有狼，哪一只羊也不得安全。”
然而，牧羊人这时候自己躲在厨房里。他在干什么呢？一会儿是用羊腰煮麦片，一会儿是用羊肉骨头熬汤。
原来，他曾经当过厨子，因为犯了错误，被地主派到乡下田庄来牧羊。大家都去打狼猎狼，到处都在痛骂恶狼，他们把森林都搜索遍了，却没有找到狼。
可是，我的朋友们，你们知道羊去哪儿了吗？说是狼抓走了羊，不过是信口胡言而已。谁吃了羊呢？当然是那牧羊人。
监守自盗是一种极其恶劣的行为，我们应该提高自己的道德修养，做一个正直、诚实的人。
