The rules and spelling about Chinese Pinyin
汉语拼音有两部分构成：声母和韵母。
pinyin has 2 parts: initials and finals
声母 initials
韵母 finals
韵母有三种：单韵母 复韵母和鼻韵母
There are three kinds of finals: simple finals compound finals and nasal finals.
单韵母 simple finals （6）
2. 复韵母 compound finals （9）
3. 鼻韵母 nasal finals（9）
整体认读音节 syllabals as a whole ( SIGHT PINYIN )
读音 pronounciation
1. zhi chi shi zi ci si 和zh ch sh z c s有相同的读音，只是这几个需要发音时间再拖长一些。就像英语里长元音和短元音发音时的区别。
zhi chi shi zi ci si have the same sounds as zh ch sh z c s; the only difference is that they have to speak a little longer (just like the long vowels and short vowels in English.)
2. 从第二行开始，这些整体认读音节和后面的韵母的发音是一样的，但是他们是一个整体，所以拼读时不能分开。
From the second line they have the same sound as the finals but we have to speak them together just like English we have sight words these are sight pinyin they are together cannot be seperated.
声调 tones
中文里一共有5种声调
如何标注声调 how to mark the tones
1. 一个声母 一个韵母，声调标注在韵母上y
One initial and one simple final the tone is on the finals
2.声母 复韵母/鼻韵母时，声调标注在6个单韵母上，标注按6个韵母的顺序来
Initial compound finals/nasal finals we will put the tones on the vowels the rank is
hui---ui 按照单韵母里的6个顺序，i 在u的前面，所以声调需要标在i上面（但是i标注声调时，上面的点需要去掉）
According to the order of the simple finals: a is the first one. So whenever there is a pinyin we have to find out wheter it has a; if does then put the tone on it; if not then go to find the final o etc;
hui: we can see that i should be before u so we put the tone on the final i not u
lai-ai a 是单韵母的第一个，所以这里直接把声调标在a上面就好
a is the first simple final so we just put the tone on it that's all
注意：iu是个例外，iu这个位置时候，比较特殊，声调会标注在u上面
比如：qì qiú
notice: iu is an exception. whenever we see a pinyin has iu i is before u we will have to put the tone on the final u
3. j q x y 不和ü相拼，当他们在一起时，ü上面的两点会去掉，但是依旧读ü。
j q x y these four initials are very special. when they meet ü we have to ommit the two dots but it still prounced ü.

- 双拼音节：2 parts: initial finals
- 三拼音节 3 parts: initial final final
