The Pike

The pike has been sued by everyone for harming other fish and there are nearly a mountain of lawsuits filed against it. In accordance with court rules the defendant was placed in a bucket. Now look the pike is beating very hard in the bucket.

The judges were gathered in the fields eating the delicious grass. Do you know who the judges are? They are two donkeys two horses and three goats.

In order to ensure a fair and just trial the court temporarily appointed a fox as prosecutor. In fact such a trial is even more unfair you know pike also prepared some small fish for the fox's dinner!

But no one can accuse the lawsuit of being unfair. Because pike is so guilty there's no denying it. The trial continued and at last the judges gave this sentence: the pike was sentenced to death and hanged immediately from the branches of a tree for public demonstration.

"Honourable Justices " he said. "Said the fox." I think hanging is too difficult for such a wicked man to clear his guilt and it is not a warning to others. I think we should give him a worse punishment and I suggest we throw him into the river and drown him."

"Drown in the river? It's an unheard-of idea and it's settled!" "Cried the judges.

And with that the pike was thrown into the river.

梭子鱼

梭子鱼被大家告了，大家都说它危害了其他的鱼，大家对它的诉状都快堆成小山了。按照法院的规矩，大家把被告放在了水桶里。现在，你看，梭子鱼正在水桶里面使劲地跳动呢。

法官们正聚集在田野里悠闲地吃着美味的青草。你知道法官都是谁吗？它们是两头驴子，两匹烈马和三只山羊。

为了保证审判的公平公正，法院又临时派狐狸来担任检察官。其实，这样的审判才更加不公正呢，要知道，梭子鱼还为狐狸的大餐准备了一些小鱼呢！

但是，谁也不能批判这场官司有不公平的地方。因为梭子鱼罪恶昭彰，实在无从抵赖。审判继续进行，最后法官们给出了这样的判决：判梭子鱼死刑，立即在树枝上绞死以示众，以做效尤。

“各位可敬的大法官。” 狐狸插嘴说道，“我觉得绞刑对于这样一个罪大恶极的人来说，实在是难以洗清它的罪过，且也不能给他人以一定的警戒，我觉得我们应该给它更厉害的惩罚，我建议我们还是把它扔到河里淹死吧！”

“扔到河里淹死？这真是个闻所未闻的好办法，就这么定了！” 法官们高声叫道。

就这样，梭子鱼就被扔到河里去了。
