我爱故乡的柑橘原文（老家的柑树汉诗英译）恍惚自己正走在回家的路上遇见柑树，恍惚有人喊我土生土长的柑子被忽略在空寂的乡村接近阳光它们在等待那些远归的望乡人

冬天的老家，随处可见一树树黄亮的柑子

无人采摘，亦无人停留观望

闲适岁月习惯了进口水果的味道

土生土长的柑子被忽略

在空寂的乡村接近阳光

它们在等待那些远归的望乡人

遇见柑树，恍惚有人喊我

恍惚自己正走在回家的路上

每一棵柑树都是我的亲人

我们在同一片土地上交换呼吸

满口楚国方言，不与叫枳的北方亲戚走动

舌尖上的奢华，麻痹我的味觉

琳琅满目的水果无法阻止

我对柑子的迷恋。在老家

这些不嫁接、不杂交、不接受改良的柑树

教我认识橙黄、橘黄和金黄

成为惟一影响我的自然物种

Mandarin Tree

Back home in the winter golden mandarins are everywhere.

No one picks them no one stops to look at them.

Life is easy now and we’ve grown used to the taste of imported fruits.

Native-born mandarins are left alone

to stretch in the sun in the sequestered countryside.

They are waiting for us way farers to come home.

If I chance to see a mandarin tree I would also hear my name in the air

and walk as if on the road toward shome.

I see every mandarin tree as a relative of mine

nourished by the same soil breathing the same air speaking

the same southern tongue unlike those hard oranges in the north.

It delights the tongue like a dream rendering all other variants tasteless.

A superabundance of colorful fruits cannot divide

my devotion for this mandarin. Back home

it refuses graft refuses hybrid refuses gene modification

and sets the hue of mandarin yellow apart from orange and gold;

its authenticity has taught me to be who I am amongst all in the natural world.
